essaouira beach .. water sports
The beach of Essaouira is a renowned tourist attraction for water sports enthusiasts, especially surfers, windsurfers, and kite-surfers. This beach may not be the best for traditional swimming, especially since the water can be chilly (about 20°C or 68° F in summer and a few degrees cooler in winter), but what it lacks in water temperature it makes up for in winds that make it perfect for these sports. Even the world’s professional kite surfers come to this beach; its even been one of the locations of the Kiteboarding World Cup.
